Although skilled at cooking, Rustini was hesitant at first. “Will this even sell?” she wondered when she tried selling her homemade tempeh chips. She placed her simply packaged product in a small local stall (wedangan HK), priced at Rp1,800 and resold for Rp2,000. Positive feedback soon followed, especially after she added a spicy variant. Her nervousness slowly turned into excitement, especially when she eventually joined DIVA UMKM.
A big change came when she joined DIVA UMKM. Through training, she began to understand the importance of product presentation, from capturing enticing food photographs to enhancing packaging for a more professional look. A pivotal moment was learning to utilize Google Business, making her products more accessible and leading to a bulk order from a hotel guest in Pontianak who discovered Masshita via Google. "Ya Allah, Google Maps is truly amazing," she reflected with gratitude.
Not stopping there, Mrs. Rustini also obtained halal certification and a PIRT license, opening doors to larger markets, including Yogyakarta. Today, her sales are not only growing through direct selling but also via digital platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
She improved her product photography, upgraded packaging, and managed her finances more wisely, recognizing the importance of separating personal and business finances after facing health challenges. Now, with renewed confidence, she approaches her business with wisdom.

The key is spirit and courage to try. “If you’re selling food, you must taste it. Don’t be stingy, so you know the flavor. If you don’t know it, you can’t recognize it, and if you can’t recognize it, you won’t love it,” she said.
